Gødstrup Hospital is a 400-bed modern and newly built teaching hospital in the western part of Central Denmark Region. The hospital is designed to meet future healthcare needs in a stimulating environment with art, colours and facilities promoting recovery as well as mental and physical well-being for both patients and staff.

The hospital’s main goal is to ensure coherence across somatic and psychiatry patient pathways and across medical professions, specialties, departments and sectors.

NIDO | Centre for Research and Education contains core facilities to develop and support research, innovation and education in health. The centre offers an attractive environment for current and future research staff spurring interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaborations. Research and innovation go hand in hand and the bench to bedside approach ensures direct benefits for patients. 

University Clinics

University clinics are based on a formalised agreement between Aarhus University, Health, and Central Denmark Region to promote scientific beacons at regional hospitals and is a recognition of research activities within a specific field.

Centre for Patient Reported Outcomes

Gødstrup Hospital hosts the AmbuFlex Centre for Patient-reported Outcomes, which is well-integrated in clinical practice across multiple patient pathways and hospitals.
